Stamina is the endurance you build to resist fatigue. It’s importance toward your daily life is greater than you think. Developing your stamina not only gives you the ability to continue training under stressful situations – which makes you a lot stronger (i.e. weight lifting, body weight exercises), but increasing your stamina also increases your resistance to common health problems such as heart disease.
There are many more ways to develop your stamina other than running
Most people absolutely HATE running. The feeling of being out of breath often scares them, so they simply don’t run – they continue to be out-of-shape because of a little FEAR. Well listen up: FEAR is a mental thing – it’s not even real, it’s all in your head. Many people define fear as being scared, adrenaline dump, etc… Those aren’t the real definitions. The REAL definition of fear is: False Evidence Appearing Real.
F.E.A.R. = False Evidence Appearing Real
Don’t let the fear of running or being breathless ruin your personal fitness. Because there are plenty of other ways you can boost your stamina without ever leaving the safety of your home.
1. Jump Roping
2. Hindu Squats
3. Hindu Pushups
4. Running in Place
5. And many more
If you’re the type of person who hates running or just doesn’t feel like going outside in the hot/cold weather, don’t worry about it. You can get in shape right in the comfort of your own home and still be able get the fitness results that you want.
Try the above exercises that I listed and you’ll get even better results than running can ever give you. Try them all and your stamina will have a significant increase within two weeks.
